Junior Church

The Junior Church aims to provide a welcome environment for children of all ages and their families within the church.

It provides sessions for each age group in which the children can learn about the Christian faith. These sessions include a whole range of activities which are largely Bible based.

It does this by:

- endeavouring to make mums, dads, and children feel welcome
- providing continuity of leadership for the children
- arranging suitable age related activities within each session
- helping the children learn about the Christian faith in a fun and safe environment
- helping the children to learn about the Church and the Bible
- helping the children see the relevance of our faith in today’s world.

Junior Church meets every Sunday at 10.00am (during the morning service) in Church House, except on Parade Sundays when all the children join in all-age worship in the Church.

Toddler Group

St Mary's Toddler Group is coming up to its second birthday in February 2001. We are a small group and always happy to welcome mums, dads, grandparents, carers and,of course, babies and toddlers every week.

Just turn up at any time between 10 and 12 on Thursdays and we'd love to see you.

We try to cater for all ages from babies in arms to crawlers and toddlers, plus activities like playdough and painting for pre-school children.

The adults enjoy a chat over a cup of coffee and the children, after a social play, have a snack and a drink and then settle down for some musical activities, singing or a story to round off an exciting morning.
